One of Edmonton’s oldest and most loved events returns with a brand new look and feelreigniting new and old childhood memories.
Working with Berlin Communications, we re-envisioned KDays to capture the excitement that this 10-day exhibition holds. "Escape the Everyday" was the mantra that gave life to this rebrand. From a new visual identity to environmental design, we overhauled everything to reflect an epic, summer experience.
Edmonton is known for it's harsh winter months. But it makes up in its most beloved summerwhere the sunsets at 10pm and the smell of corndogs and mini-donuts is just around the corner. 
Revamping KDay's entire visual system in 2023 was quite a task. From the logo development stage to managing brand guidelines, I helped reshape KDay's visual landscape with new icons, colour palettes, and photo direction.
With the new colours and imagery created, we envisioned the fairgrounds to be energetic and vibrant. I was tasked to manage the production of signage at the Edmonton Exhibition Lands—outputting over 200 signs that livened exterior and interior spaces.
Additionally, I revamped their map with the new brand and illustrate exhibitions that were new on site.
